Welcome to Mosaic Travels! We offer unique group trips for Muslims from the Netherlands and Belgium. With larger travel organizations, a group trip often includes activities like a wine tasting. Or who hasn’t been disappointed by the menu at a nice restaurant where you go to eat with the whole group? Insufficient vegetarian options—let alone halal food. We take all of those concerns away for you. We select the best restaurants where you can eat halal or where there is a wide choice of vegetarian or fish dishes.

Because we operate on a small scale, we are able to give personal attention to everyone. We stay in the same hotel or accommodation (with women and men separated) as our fellow travelers, and we eat where you eat. This creates a close-knit travel group that already gets to know each other in the Netherlands or Belgium before the group trip begins. Who do you get along well with? The group composition is also different from that of large-scale tour operators. You can relate to your fellow travelers and share many things in common with them.

Owner Tijani Goullet and permanent staff member Hichame Chenik of Mosaic Travels have ten years of experience with group travel. Over the years, we have traveled three times to the United States and also visited Canada, London, Dubai, and Morocco. During these group trips, we consistently sought out the Moroccan communities in those countries.

We now focus on serving all Muslims in the Netherlands and Belgium, as we feel that regular travel organizations do not meet our needs sufficiently. That said, non-Muslims are also more than welcome to join our trips.

With Mosaic Travels, we focus on long-haul destinations such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan. We bring strong in-house expertise: Tijani Goullet studied history and is a journalist, while Hichame Chenik has a background in tourism. Nevertheless, we will also work with local guides to provide you with that extra depth of insight into the rich Islamic history of all the beautiful places we will visit together.
